Celebrate and Appreciate 2025
Dear Friend,
This week, we’re heading to Europe for a Christmas riverboat cruise to celebrate Crizen’s parents’ 50-year marriage anniversary.
All of Crizen’s siblings and their families are making the trip — carving out the time and space to be together.
And in that spirit of celebrating, it reminded me…
That’s the point of the end of the year. But it’s also the part we often miss.
Honor the Wins
Before you chase what’s next — acknowledge what’s now behind you.
The growth
The pivots
The lessons
The grit
Gratitude builds momentum better than shame ever could.
Give Yourself Grace
It’s okay to have dessert.
Nutrition and sleep might drift off track for a few weeks — and that’s part of living.
Celebrate the days you do stick to routine. The workouts you still get in. The walks you take even when you’re tired.
Don’t beat yourself up for being present with people you love. Enjoy it.
Then use that slightly uncomfortable “I’m ready to reset” feeling as inertia — not guilt.
Don’t Outsource Your Life
Trips
Time with the kids
Moments that won’t return
Those aren’t indulgences. They’re investments.
We have three more holiday seasons with Kaya before she heads off to college.
The window closes faster than you expect. At some point, travel becomes a non-decision.
So make those plans now for 2026 — not later.

But designing a life where:
Health supports the life you want
Not the other way around
At BodyTime, our focus is turning health knowledge into action. Here are a few ways to start:

Crizen from her 5th annual wellness retreat at Amansala in Tulum. This was the first year I was solo with the kids. Normally I’d be in the ER and Crizen’s parents would have been flown in to help. Not only did we survive, we all thrived and came out stronger.
Thanks,
Mike
