Multiple doctors regularly discussing your care

Dear Friend,

The standard health system starts with your primary care physician and with further complexity or medical questions, additional specialists are referred. This means you go see another doctor and start on a supplemental or new medical plan.

The plan gets convoluted and ownership of medical problems gets blurred, forcing the patient to quarterback themselves often left confused and lost.

Concierge medicine has tried to fill the gap by going above and beyond for a limited patient base. This involves having discussions directly with specialists and being involved with the overall plan. In the end, it’s a single doctor trying to put all the pieces together.

Hive Mind:

At BodyTimeMD we support each client with a team of medical providers including doctors, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners. While each provider has their own strengths and interests, we utilize a team based approach to regularly discuss our clients. This typically involves multiple doctors to develop the best plan with our collective mind.

This concept is utilized in cancer centers (tumor board) and brings the various specialities to the same discussion with the common goal of making the best cross-specialty decision for the patient.

Why not utilize this methodology for everyone?

With this approach, we are able to keep the majority of the care in-house, such as cardiac, hormone, GI, nutrition, fitness, and sleep.

At BodyTimeMD, we integrate your care across specialists, while maintaining ownership of the primary objective: Help you achieve your long term-goals. Hope this provides some insight, let’s talk if you are interested in finding out more about your body.

Last minute trip to see Purdue in the NCAA basketball championship. While we didn’t pull off the win, we had the gift of catching up with friends we hadn’t seen in years.

Thanks,
